Bristol TN police investigating fatal Thursday evening crash

One person is dead after a crash near Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday evening. Bristol, Tennessee Police Department said the crash happened on Highway 11E near the main entrance of the speedway. 78 year old Arthur Hammarlund was transported to Bristol Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Anyone who saw the crash is asked to contact Bristol TN police.
