Bristol, Tennessee Police Officers Recognized For Highway Safety Efforts

Two Bristol, Tennessee Police Officers have received top awards from the state of Tennessee for their work to improve roadway safety and reduce Tennessee traffic fatalities. Officer Dan Crowe is the Tennessee Highway Safety Officer of the year for East Tennessee. Crowe received the recognition for his work and investigative techniques that resulted in numerous impaired drivers being removed safely from the community’s roadways. Officer Kevin Frederick is presented the Seatbelt Enforcement Award for East Tennessee for his efforts in enforcing seatbelt laws, a leading initiative of the Tennessee Highway Safety agency.
