Appalachian Sustainable Development provides free services to regional farmers
Regional farmers now have expanded access to agroforestry technical assistance through the Appalachian Sustainable Development (ASD). Both new and seasoned farmers can utilize this ASD program, which provides a variety of free services to help implement agroforestry practices into their farm or land.
Assistance is provided for practices such as alley cropping and forest farming. Farmers can benefit from resource sharing, phone calls, and even site visits through this program. For more information, visit asdevelop.org.
