One person injured in apparent road rage incident in Johnson City

A report issued Tuesday afternoon said officers with the Johnson City Police Department were investigating reports of a road rage incident off of Interstate 26.

The statement said investigators shut down the roadway at the corner of North Roan Street and 11th Avenue.

The city report said one person was injured and one person was in custody. The identities of the people involved in the incident have not been released. The intersection closed off for police work was reopened to traffic just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
