WCSO TN charge man after crashing and hiding vehicle
Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man at an apartment complex on Thursday after he fled from a traffic stop. Just before 1 p.m. deputies responded to a report of a man evading and resisting arrest. The man was reportedly armed and dangerous and was allegedly fleeing from an earlier situation. The suspect was identified as 43 year old Jeremy Bond. A deputy noticed Bond’s vehicle at the Cherokee Road and University Parkway intersection and attempted a traffic stop on State of Franklin at University Parkway but Bond fled erratically at a high rate of speed and the deputy did not pursue due to public safety concerns. Bond then crashed his vehicle at the intersection of State of Franklin and West Market Street and attempted to hide the crashed vehicle at a nearby apartment complex but was found and arrested walking down the road. Bond now faces multiple charges and was transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
