Jury selection in Boswell murder trial postponed
Jury selection was postponed Monday for the trial of Megan Boswell, who is accused of killing her daughter, Evelyn, in 2020 and hiding her body in an outbuilding on family property. Around 1,200 potential jurors were expected to be brought in, with the goal of seating an unbiased jury in Sullivan County. Boswell’s defense had previously filed a motion to move the trial to another county because they said publicity surrounding the case would make it impossible to find impartial jurors. Jury selection has now been scheduled for February 3, 2025.
