Vols head to Ohio State for CFP game
The Tennessee Volunteers will be featured in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff and will start their journey toward a national title with a No. 9 seed in the final set of rankings from the CFP Selection Committee on Sunday. The Vols will head to No. 8 Ohio State on Saturday, December 21 at 8 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ABC. This is the first time Tennessee will compete in the CFB playoff in its 11-year history. The game will also be only the second-ever game between Tennessee and Ohio State. Tennessee beat the Buckeyes in the 1996 Citrus Bowl.
