Johnson City prepares for Candy Land Christmas Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony

Johnson City will light the Christmas trees in Founders Park and King Commons later this month. The city will host it’s Candy Land Christmas Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. November 30. The ceremony will be held at King Commons on Commerce Street. Trees in Downtown Johnson City are decorated by local businesses and non-profit organizations. The Johnson City Junior Council will vote on its favorite tree. The People’s Choice Award will also decided through online voting. Voting for the tree will start as soon as they are lit.
