Bristol VA approved for Helene debris removal assistance
The City of Bristol, Virginia has been approved for Hurricane Helene debris removal assistance through the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. Beginning November 22, crews will pick up eligible Hurricane Helene-related debris throughout the city. Debris eligible for pick up includes vegetative, damage, demolition and tires. The city says debris should be un-bagged and separated from each type prior to pickup and to place debris at an accessible location at the edge of their property accessible from public roads. Household trash, household hazardous waste, electronics, and large appliances are not eligible.
