Bristol State Liners to play 2025 home games in JC

Four Appalachian League teams announced their schedules for the 2025 season on Monday. The regular 2025 season will begin June 5 and continue through July 30. The Johnson City Doughboys will share their field in the new season with the Bristol State Liners with all home games for the State Liners taking place at TVA Credit Union Ballpark in Johnson City. Boyd Sports had just announced the acquisition of the State Liners and Tod Houston Stadium in Bristol TN is being upgraded to become the new home field for Bristol. But that facility won’t be ready in time for the 2025 Appy League season. Boyd Sports now operates five Appalachian League teams.
