Police capture North Carolina murder suspect on property in Gray

A male suspect sought by Charlotte Mecklenberg police for an incident in February was taken into custody at a Gray, Tennessee home Tuesday.

Henry Renteria, 45, was captured by police on property located in the 200 block of Shannon View Road. Renteria faces a first-degree murder charge for an incident in Charlotte that dates back to March 16th.

He is jailed without bond on a charge of being a fugitive from justice and is awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
