VA Cooperative Extension release assessment of Helene damage

Helene caused $159.3 million in agricultural damage in Virginia, according to the Virginia Cooperative Extension. Agents from across 21 localities worked on the assessment. Grayson County sustained $61 million in damage. Wythe County, Smyth County, Washington County, and Carroll County rounded out the top five localities with the most economic losses from Helene.
