Bristol Motor Speedway transforms into regional disaster relief headquarters
Tennessee emergency officials have formed a plan with Bristol Motor Speedway to establish the race track campus as a Northeast Tennessee Disaster Relief Center to distribute and collect items for Hurricane Helene victims.
Items can be dropped off daily from 8am to 6pm. Donations can include bottled water, baby supplies and personal hygiene products, and non-perishable food.
BMS will also become a home base for approved search and rescue teams along with logistical support as well as the call center for a regional disaster relief hotline.
