New traffic light coming to Greeneville intersection

A new traffic light is expected to be installed at a Greeneville intersection next year. The town plans to install a new traffic light at Serral Drive and Highway 11E, near a new Texas Roadhouse and Panda Express. City Manager Todd Smith believes the light will help keep traffic moving safely in the area. Smith said the town accepted bids on the project and is awaiting equipment on backorder, and believes the project should be finished early next year.
