Law enforcement identifies three that perished in plane crash based out of Mountain City
North Carolina authorities have identified the three victims of a crash found by search teams in rough terrain.
The Highway Patrol report said Adam Plummer, the pilot, and passengers Scott George and Charles Mather, Jr., all from South Carolina were killed shortly after their flight based out of Johnson County Airport crashed near Nebo, North Carolina.
A preliminary report says weather conditions played a factor in the incident. The contracted plane had been in Mountain City on Sunday to supply rides for parachute jumpers.
