Thunder Valley Nationals secure new title sponsor with local ties

Officials with Bristol Dragway announced Super Grip based in Piney Flats as the title sponsor for the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals in June.

Super Grip was established in Sullivan County in 1984 and manufactures tires for the industrial and recreation ATV market.

Bristol Motor Speedway CEO Jerry Caldwell said the deal is the right mix of a tradition-rich event and an aggressive sponsor just 10 miles down the road from the complex.
