THP reports fatal crash on US 421 in Johnson County

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a crash on US 421 in Johnson County has killed one person and injured another. Around 10:20 a.m. Thursday, a Silverado headed north on 421 crossed the center line and struck a RAV4 head-on. A third vehicle, traveling behind the RAV4 also hit the RAV4. The driver of the RAV4, 65 year old Alita Barnett, died in the crash. The driver of the Silverado was injured and is facing charges.
