Back to Bristol: Another Xfinity Series run for Dale, Jr. in September

It might have been the 47 laps up front in September that led Dale Earnhardt, Jr., to sign the entry list for Bristol in September.

JR Motorsports announced Earnhardt’s return to the Xfinity Series for the Food City 300 later this year. It correlates with Junior’s and Hellman’s Mayonaise extending their sponsorship deal to run those colors as he has in past Bristol events.

Earnhardt ran in the top 5 and led 47 laps in last year’s event but electrical problems took him out with 30 laps to go.
