Fundraiser for Kingsport Public Library renovations now underway

The Friends of the Kingsport Public Library, in partnership with the City of Kingsport has kicked off a $1.5 million fundraising campaign to help fund a multi-million dollar renovation and upgrade of the Kingsport Public Library. The “Library of the Future” fundraising campaign is now underway and aims to help fund the first major renovation of the library in more than 30 years. The City of Kingsport has earmarked $6 million to renovate and update the Kingsport Public Library, which includes improvements to the children’s area, a new elevator and dedicated spaces for other programming.
