Greeneville man arrested in road rage incident
A Greeneville man was arrested Monday afternoon after he allegedly pulled a gun on a victim during a road rage incident, and then followed him to the Greeneville Police Department. Police said that Tad Laws was charged with aggravated assault following the incident, which began at an Arby’s fast food restaurant at around 2:30 p.m. The victim left after being yelled at by Laws, and Laws followed continuing to antagonize the victim until he eventually pointed a firearm at the victim, who then drove to the police department with Laws in tow. Laws then made a “self defense” claim before his gun was confiscated and he was arrested for aggravated assault and transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
