Passenger killed in Bulls Gap police chase with charges pending for driver

A pursuit and crash Sunday morning leaves one dead and another injured. It happened in Bulls Gap when an officer attempted to stop a vehicle on West Andrew Johnson Highway. The driver was identified as 30 year old, Robert Knight, of Tennessee. Two officers were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries and were later released. T he passenger, identified as, 22 year old, Tanner Horn, of Tennessee, was pronounced dead at the scene. Mosheim Police said both Knight and the passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Knight was flown to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. Neither Knight nor Horn were wearing seat belts. The crash remains under investigation by the THP and charges against Knight are pending.
