Unicoi Police arrest man for aggravated child abuse

The Town of Unicoi Police Department arrested a man on Thursday and charged him with Haley’s Law-Aggravated Child Abuse. According to a release from the police department, 22 year old, Zhante Breedlove, was arrested and charged. The release says a child sustained severe trauma and has been hospitalized. Breedlove was transported to the Unicoi County Jail on an $800,000 bond. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are likely as the investigation progresses.
