Rewards for Dehart now over $100,000

Rewards totaling more than $100,000 have been offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect accused of shooting and killing Blount County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Greg McCowan. McCowan had been shot and killed during a traffic stop on Sevierville Road. A second deputy was wounded. The suspect is identified a 42 year old Kenneth Dehart. On Saturday, the BCSO decided to increase their reward from $10,000 to $100,000. Police say Dehart should be considered armed and dangerous, and if you have any information that may be helpful for police, to contact them immediately.
