Stoney Creek water issues continue

Some residents of the Stoney Creek community in Carter County have been without running water since the sub freezing temperatures this weekend froze and burst water pipes. More than 300 people have gone to the TLC Community Center in search for water and other amenities they have had to forgo. The center has bottled water and is allowing residents to do things like showering and laundry. The center is open from 10am til 8pm. Utility officials say they are working round the clock, and things should be easier with the ground thawed thanks to the warming temperatures.
