New apartment complex coming to Greeneville

A new apartment complex is coming to Greeneville and will be the first one built in the area since 2014. City officials hope that this will help to alleviate a housing shortage in the city as Greeneville and Greene County have been listed near the top for insufficient affordable housing for several years. The new apartment complex will consist of three buildings with two and three-bedroom units with plans to add a clubhouse, park, and other amenities. The complex will be located behind the new Shops at Greeneville development with developers starting construction early next year, to hopefully be completed in 2025.
