Motorcycle crash kills one on Interstate 81

A North Carolina motorcycle rider was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 in Washington County, Virginia.

State Police identified the victim as 41-year-old Mark Massie, Jr., of Hendersonville.

The preliminary report said Massie ran off the right side of Interstate 81 southbound near Exit 14 and hit a milepost sign. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
