Kingsport man arrested and charged for drug and weapon possession

A Kingsport, Tennessee man remains behind bars with no bond after a sizeable cache of drugs and weapons were taken from his property.

A report from Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy says Rocky Lee Woodard, 34, was arrested during a traffic stop for a probation violation and a subsequent search of his property unveiled several grams of meth, fentanyl, marijuana, and other drugs along with five weapons and ammo.

Woodard faces several drug and weapon charges as well as gun possession by a felon under a federal statute.
