Majority of Virginians want Youngkin to stay off presidential trail
Virginians are split on Governor Glenn Youngkin’s job approval rating, but most of those polled want Youngkin to roll back his potential presidential run.
The latest survey by the Wason Center at Christopher Newport University says 59 percent of state residents prefer Youngkin maintain state-level politics and forgo the 2024 run long rumored for months.
The governor has a 50/50 rating on his job in Richmond while 73 percent said the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction.
