South Fork Utility Issues Boil Water Notice For Customers
The South Fork Utility District’s water tanks have drained below its critical level and officials have reason to suspect the water distributed to customers of South Fork may be contaminated. Because of that, the utility district is advising its customers to boil water prior to using it for drinking or food preparation. As a precaution, customers should boil water, then strain it through a clean cloth. Then return the water to a vigorous boil for one minute to insure disinfection. The boil water notice will remain in effect till further notice.
