Two Arrests Made In Weekend, Blountville Murder

In an update to a story we first told you about Monday morning. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department now has in custody two suspects in connection with the murder of 17 Gavin Brown of Blountville over the weekend. The Sheriff’s Department says 23 year old Korey Barnett of Anderson Street in Blountville is charged with first degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. Also arrested is 21 year old Mason Dubois, charged with especially aggravated robbery. Brown’s body was found Friday night in his County Hill Road home in Blountville by family members. Barnett and Debois are scheduled for arraignment in Sullivan County Monday.
