Virginia’s First Quarter Revenues Exceeding Projections
September was the final month in the first quarter of Virginia’s fiscal year and Governor Glenn Youngkin’s Office is reporting September’s figures exceed estimates. The revenues reflected the nearly 900 million dollars of tax rebates delivered to Virginian’s in recent weeks as a result of the Governor’s first budget. First quarter general revenues were up seven point six percent and exceeded budgeted revenues by more than 500 million dollars.
