Ballad Health reports 138 COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized

Ballad Health says on Friday, 9/9/22, there are 138 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across the company’s 21-county service area. Ballad began releasing its COVID-19 Scorecard again last month after a spike in cases around the region.

According to Friday’s scorecard, the past week’s positivity rate sits at 27 percent. There are ten COVID patients in the ICU, and four are on ventilators. Ballad also reports three pediatric patients in Niswonger Children’s Hospital with COVID-19.
