Large, Ash Tree To Be Removed For Public Safety Concerns In Abingdon
With the public’s safety as a primary concern, officials in Abingdon, Virginia are taking the recommendation of a tree expert and will cut down, and remove a large, green, Ash Tree located in front of the Abingdon Visitor’s Center. Recent storm damage revealed decay in the main trunk of the tree and removal was highly recommended. The Abingdon Tree Commission will be planting a new tree in the same location.
