Virginia to receive $16M as part of JUUL settlement
Virginia is one of 34 states that have reached an agreement with the makers of the JUUL e-cigarette in a $438.5 million shared settlement.
Attorney General Jason Miyares said in a statement the manufacturer engaged in deceptive marketing and enticed teens to use their product.
The result comes from a two-year investigation. Virginia will receive $16.6 million over the next ten years.
