Nearly One Hundred Thousand New Jobs In Commonwealth Since January
There are nearly one hundred thousand more Virginian’s employed today since the end of January. That words comes from Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s office. Youngkin says the Commonwealth is well ahead of pace to reach its goal of 400 thousand jobs during his two year term as Governor. Youngkin says a slowdown in monthly job creation and a lower level of job participation has his full attention. The unemployment rate in Virginia continues to track below the national rate of three and a half percent.
