VCU poll shows Youngkin’s approval rating at 49 percent
A recent Virginia Commonwealth University poll shows Governor Youngkin has a 49 percent approval rating through half of his first year in office.
The survey that was concluded last month showed 58 percent approved Youngkin’s push for a three-month suspension of the state gasoline tax that was quashed by Democrats.
The governor’s moves in education also received high marks with 79 percent approving of Youngkin’s move for more funding for historic black universities and 55 percent like the approval of his joint project between state universities and lab schools for public school students.
