COVID Rates In NET Nearly Double Since April
The positivity rate for COVID 19 appears to be on the rise in Northeast Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Health reports a more than thirty percent jump in cases over two weeks that ended on June 18th, compared to the two week total ending May 28th. The number of people hospitalized for COVID in the Ballad Health Care System isn’t rising as fast as the official rate, however it is nearly twice the number it was in late April.
