Kingsport native and former Disney Channel star sent to prison in Utah
A Kingsport, Tennessee native and former Disney Channel star will serve two years in prison in Utah after police said he tried to entice what he thought was a teenage boy for sex.
The charge against Stoney Westmoreland dates back to 2018 when prosecutors said he sent nude photos using his cell phone after a conversation on the Grindr app.
Westmoreland, the son of former Sullivan County executive Keith Westmoreland, portrayed a grandfather on the Disney series ‘Andi Mack’ before he was terminated by the company after his arrest.
