Greeneville man falls asleep behind wheel at gas pump
A Greeneville man was arrested Sunday morning after he reportedly fell asleep in his car at a gas station. According to a report, officers found Tommy Lee McGuire, 35, asleep in his vehicle at a gas pump on Andrew Johnson Highway.
When deputies woke McGuire up, he had a clear baggie in his hand, which he attempted to put in his pocket. As he stepped out of the vehicle, officers saw the baggie laying on the driver’s seat, which contained what they believe to be meth. After questioning, McGuire admitted to using heroin and possibly meth that day and he was taken into custody for DUI and drug paraphernalia.
