Johnson City Man Arrested For Strangling, Hitting Girlfriend With Baseball Bat
A Johnson City man is jailed and arraigned after the man’s girlfriend says he strangled her to the point of passing out, then hit her with a baseball bat. Police arrested James Campbell on Aggravated Domestic Assault charges Monday a short distance from 310 E Chestnut Street, where the victim says she woke up to find Campbell standing over her holding a knife to her throat. When the victim tried to get away, she says Campbell then hit her in the back with a baseball bat. Campbell is being held on a ten thousand dollar bond
