Southwest Virginia Double Homicide Suspect Shot And Killed In Tennessee By Police
Here’s an update to a story we first told you about Monday. The man wanted for a double homicide in Scott County, Virginia has been shot and killed by a Deputy Marshal in Cock County, Tennessee. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says 34 year old Christopher C. Hutson, of Church Hill, Tennessee was killed after Hutson was located, in Newport, Tennessee where he encountered authorities on Cosby Highway then fled. Hutson was located behind a home, and during the encounter the deputy marshal fired shots, striking Hutson, who was pronounced dead on the scene. Hutson, was wanted for a double homicide that occurred Sunday evening on East Carter’s Valley Road in Scott County, Virginia.
