Greeneville man found asleep in car; in possession of meth, illegal handgun
A Greeneville man was arrested on Sunday, 4/3, after officers found him asleep in his vehicle. Deputies were dispatched to 144 Mason Street, just off of Tusculum Blvd., where they found Michael McCraw, 36, asleep in his car with the driver’s side door open.
After waking him up, McCraw continued dozing off while speaking with officers. His name came back with an active warrant for violation of probation, and he was arrested. Upon search, police found three baggies with crystal substance believed to be meth, several more empty baggies, and a loaded 9 mm Ruger. He was then charged with manufacture/sale/delivery of meth, public intoxication, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
