Milligan University Cross Country Runner, Hit And Killed, Four Others Injured While Running In Williamsburg

A member of the Milligan University Men’s Cross Country Track and Field team is dead, and four others were sent to the hospital with injuries after all five were struck by a hit and run driver in York County, near Williamsburg, Virginia Thursday night. Virginia State Police say 20 year old Eli Cramer died from his injuries after being transported to a local hospital. The driver of the two door vehicle, fled the scene and later crashed the vehicle into a median on route 199 and was taken into custody. In a statement from Milligan University President, Bill Greer, Greer asks for prayers for the Cramer family as well as Seniors Alex Mortimer and Eli Baldy who wee also injured. Virginia State Police Criminal Investigations and the Commonwealth’s Attorney are investigating the incident, with charges pending.
