Allegations of mental, verbal abuse place ETSU Softball program under internal review
Another former player of current ETSU Softball coach Belinda Hendrix has come forward with a report of mistreatment following a barrage of allegations about her tenure in Johnson City.
In a post on an ETSU fan Twitter page called The Mutiny, Brooke Rackel said while playing for Hendrix at Chipola College in Florida in 2011 she was locked on a bus in hot temperatures with select teammates as a punishment by Hendrix.
I had the unpleasure of playing for them when I played at Chipola In 2011. Once some of us were locked on the team bus during a doubleheader with no air conditioning in 30+ degree Florida heat as “punishment” So glad these young women today are speaking up and ending the abuse https://t.co/l2SDsIDw63
