I-81 pursuit of car stolen out of New York exceeds 100 miles per hour

Three men in a stolen car out of New York led local and state officers on a pursuit reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour on Interstate 81 near the Smyth County border before being arrested.

Estiven Arvelo, 27, of Pennsylvania, and Jose Cruz & Walter Capellan, both of The Bronx, are charged with grand larceny, conspiracy, and fleeing from law enforcement.

Washington County, Virginia Sheriff Blake Andis said then men were caught shortly after they crashed near Loves Mill Road.
