Suspect arrested for robbery in Saltville indicted by grand jury

A Smyth County, Virginia man has been indicted by a grand jury based on a gas station hold-up in October.

Ryan Huffman, 33, is accused of injuring a convenience store clerk in Saltville when police said he entered the business brandishing a knife and demanded cash.

The clerk was treated for a minor hand injury. Huffman is charged with robbery and malicious wounding.
