UPDATE: Armed robbery suspect in Bristol now in custody

An attempted armed robbery suspect at a Volunteer Parkway gas station has been taken into custody. According to an update from Bristol, Tennessee police officers, Wayne M. Kistner, 42, was found Tuesday (3/15) night at his residence at 3582 HWY 421.

Kistner is accused of flashing a gun while attempting to rob a Shell station on Volunteer Parkway. Detectives identified the suspect with the help of numerous tips from the public, and he is now charged with attempted aggravated robbery.
