One Person Dead Following Weekend Fire In Kingsport

The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a blaze that killed one person in Kingsport over the weekend. According to the Kingsport Fire Department, firefighters discovered the body of a deceased male in a house that was already engulfed in smoke and flames when fire fighters arrived at a residence in an alley way between Park Street and Highland Street Saturday afternoon. The name of the victim has not yet been released, and we expect an update from Kingsport Fire officials later today.
