Greeneville: Warrant issued for man who resisted arrest, cut ankle monitor off
A man in wanted out of Greeneville after resisting arrest and cutting his ankle monitor off. Officers received a call Thursday morning about a man in the Greeneville Dollar General parking lot attempting to cut his monitor off of his leg.
When police made contact, they discovered the man was Stewart Kilgore, and was wanted in Georgia on a stalking charge. A police report says deputies observed bolt cutters in Kilgore’s vehicle. A deputy told Kilgore to get out of the vehicle, but he fled from the parking lot at a high rate of speed. Police later discovered the ankle monitor with the strap cut in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot. An arrest warrant was issued for Stewart Kilgore.
