Kingsport: Traffic effected at Fort Henry Drive bridge March 7 & 8

Sullivan County officials say a bridge on Fort Henry Drive will be closed Monday and Tuesday for repairs, and the work will effect traffic flow. The bridge on Fort Henry Drive near the Patrick Henry Dam will be closed in the Southbound lane as crews do routine inspections and maintenance.

Southbound traffic will be shifted to the Northbound lane, where only one lane in each direction will be open. This traffic pattern will be in place from 8 AM to 3:30 PM on both Monday and Tuesday. Drivers who cannot avoid the area should use extreme caution and follow posted speed limits.
